Stock

99% of the products we sell are in stock, if they are sold out or we are waiting for a delivery to arrive you are still able to purchase the item or items but it will be dispatched a few days later free of charge when they are back in stock. The stock message you will see is “Available in 2-3 working days”

If in a rare case that a product is out of stock for the foreseeable future we will remove it from the website.

Dispatch Time

All orders will be dispatched within 24hours, but we try our very best to dispatch them the same day if ordered before 1pm. If you have any questions regarding dispatch times please get in touch.

What If I’m Not Home?

For small orders normally under £30.00 or under 2kg in weight we use Royal Mail 1st class, if you are not in when the delivery is made the parcel or packet will be left in a safe place.

In some cases when the item is low in weight but high in value we will use 1st class recorded, if there is nobody available to sign for this service then a card will be left with instructions on pick up at your local post office or re delivery.

For larger order over 2kg we use DPD for delivery within the UK. When no one is available to accept your delivery a card will be left letting you know that DPD tried to deliver it. An attempt will then automatically be made to deliver it to you on the next working day.

On the card will be instructions on the other options available to collect your parcel, including redelivering at a different time and date, redelivering to a different address, and collecting from your local DPD depot.

Order Tracking

If your order is sent via DPD or Royal Mail 1st class recorded you can track your order at any time through a tracking number on your order confirmation email.

Carbon Neutral Delivery

We are pleased to use DPD not only because of there level of service but because they are carbon neutral courier front runners. They do this by improving the efficiency of there transport network, by the deployment of innovative solutions, like Predict or Pickup and by an increased use of alternative fuel vehicles.

They also offset there remaining transport emissions, to finance renewable and cleaner energy production projects. Together with EcoAct, the European leader on the carbon market, they have put in place an offsetting program respecting the most rigorous international standards.

Environmentally Responsible Packaging

Corn packing chips, vegetable glues and bubble wrap that biodegrades - our packaging supplies make the environment smile.

We are very picky when it comes to products we sell, but we also carefully consider what we give away in terms of packaging and disposables. Your delivery will come in a 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard box or packet, which is made in the UK and printed with vegetable inks. The tape that holds the box closed is gummed paper, which can be recycled with the box, while the gum is made from plant starch.

The packaging chips inside the box are made from expanded corn which are actually edible, but don’t taste very nice They are also totally compostable, so can be added to your compost heap, or put into composting facilities if there is one near you.

Sometimes a bit more protection is needed for fragile goods, but the bubble wrap that we use is biodegradable. It can be reused over and over, but when it finally goes into landfill it will breakdown within a few years, rather than millions.
