Potassium is essential in the body as it has many health benefits including; heart and kidney disorders, blood pressure, anxiety and stress, metabolism, water balance, electrolytic functions, nervous systems, enhanced muscle strength, relief from stroke and it can also help flush out sodium.

There are several signs that you are not getting enough Potassium such as feeling tired a lot of the time, having leg cramps or muscle weakness, feeling faint or dizzy, bloating and high blood pressure.

So what can you do about it? There are lots of foods that are high in Potassium and believe it or not Bananas are not the highest ranking!
